Payment information: If you subscribe to GeoSports Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.

Device and usage data: We use PostHog for analytics and product improvement. This may include information about how you interact with the app, such as pages visited, interactions with the app, and feature usage.

Cookies: We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies are used via PostHog.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate and improve GeoSports, including to provide gameplay features, leaderboards, groups, email communications about your results, customer support, and compliance with legal obligations. We may also send occasional product updates — you can unsubscribe from these at any time.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate GeoSports or as required by law:

Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Upstash (caching), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), PostHog (analytics), and Google (authentication, if you sign in with Google).

5. Third-Party Services

GeoSports may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, including Google (authentication) and Stripe (payments). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, though anonymized game data may be retained for leaderboard integrity.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@geosports.app or through in-app account settings, where available. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email we send.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information under applicable privacy laws, including the right to access, delete, or correct your data.

8. Children's Privacy

GeoSports is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS and secure authentication practices, to help protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
